Jiangxi is one of the twenty-two provinces that, together with the five autonomous regions, four municipalities and two special administrative regions, make up the People's Republic of China. Its capital is Nanchang; Other important cities are Ji'an, Ganzhou, Pingxiang and Jiujiang. It limits to the north with Hubei and Anhui, to the northeast with Zhejiang, to the east with Fujian, to the south with Canton and to the west with Hunan.
