City of Resistencia road access map, province of Chaco, Argentina.

Resistance is a communication knot of the region: National Route 11 communicates with Buenos Aires and with the city of Formosa. It is planned to transform the section that passes through the urban ejido of the city into a highway. National Route 16 links it with the most important region of the provincial interior, then it reaches the city of Salta, and it is also part of a bioceanic corridor from Brazil to Chile. The same route goes to the head of the General Manuel Belgrano bridge, which links the provinces of Chaco and Corrientes, and from there through National Route 12 it is linked to the rest of the northeast region. The sector of this route between the intersections with the National Route No. 11 and the Provincial Route No. 63 is a highway of 4 lanes separated by a green space in the center, it is also planned to convert the highway to the access to Puerto Tirol, with which it will have this condition during the entire stretch that runs through the municipality of Resistencia.
