Physical map of the Province of La Pampa, Argentina.
As its name indicates, a large part of the territory of the province is part of the extensive Pampean plain, however, there are important variations of relief. The western Pampean constitutes a zone of transition towards the Cuyo and the Comahue regions while gaining altitude until reaching an average altitude of 600 m, with summits of more than 1100 m, with Cerro Negro (1,125 m) and the hill Aguas de Torres (Approximately 1,000 m), both located in the extreme northwest of the province, as maximum altitudes.
