Pergamino is an Argentine city located in the interior of the Province of Buenos Aires (more precisely in the north of the province) head of the homonymous partido and located 222 km from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, 110 km from the city from Rosario, 143 km from the city of Venado Tuerto and 276 km from the city of La Plata.
It is also located 30 km from the border with the province of Santa Fe, which is why the towns and cities of southern Santa Fe have strong commercial ties with the city.
Its population is 91,399 inhabitants (INDEC, 2010), which represents a growth of 6.92% compared to 85,487 inhabitants (INDEC, 2001) of the previous census. Due to its population, Pergamino is the 8th city in the interior of the province of Buenos Aires.
