Palma, also known as Palma de Mallorca, is a municipality and a Spanish city, capital of the island of Mallorca and the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is also the headquarters of the judicial party number three of the province and the diocese of Mallorca. It is located in the western part of the Mediterranean Sea and, within the island of Mallorca, is to the southwest. It is located about 250 km east of the Iberian peninsula.
