Eastern Europe borders the Baltic Sea, Northern Europe and the Arctic Ocean, to the South with Central Asia, East Asia, the Black Sea, the East with the Pacific Ocean, the Southwest with Southern Europe and the West with Western Europe.
The Statistical Division of the United Nations defines East Europe as the set of the following States:
