Huila Department 2003
Huila is a department of the Republic of Colombia located to the southwest of the country, in the Andean region, limits to the North with Tolima and Cundinamarca, the South with Caquetá, the East with Meta and the West with Cauca. It has a terrestrial surface of 19,890 km ² is the seventh less extensive department, in front of Sucre, Caldas, Risaralda, Atlantic, Quindío and San Andrés and Providencia, less extensive. Neiva is its capital.
The department of Huila has 37 municipalities in 4 subregions: Subnorte, Subcenter, Subsur and Suboccidente:
