Elle prend sa source dans le Massif central, traverse notamment Orl\u00e9ans et Nantes, puis se jette dans l&#8217;Atlantique pr\u00e8s de Saint-Nazaire.<\/p>\n<p>Ses principaux affluents sont :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>l&#8217;Allier ;<\/li>\n<li>le Cher ;<\/li>\n<li>l&#8217;Indre ;<\/li>\n<li>la Vienne ;<\/li>\n<li>la Maine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. La Seine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Seine prend sa source en Bourgogne et traverse le Bassin parisien.<\/p>\n<p>Elle passe notamment par :<br \/>\n<strong>Troyes \u2192 Paris \u2192 Rouen \u2192 Le Havre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Elle se jette dans la Manche par son estuaire.<\/p>\n<p>Ses principaux affluents sont la Marne, l&#8217;Oise, l&#8217;Yonne et l&#8217;Eure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Le Rh\u00f4ne<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le Rh\u00f4ne prend sa source en Suisse, traverse le lac L\u00e9man puis entre en France pr\u00e8s de Gen\u00e8ve.<\/p>\n<p>Il traverse notamment :<br \/>\n<strong>Lyon \u2192 Valence \u2192 Avignon \u2192 Arles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Il se divise ensuite en plusieurs bras dans son delta avant de rejoindre la mer M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Son principal affluent fran\u00e7ais est la Sa\u00f4ne, qui rejoint le Rh\u00f4ne \u00e0 Lyon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. La Garonne<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Garonne prend sa source dans les Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es espagnoles avant d&#8217;entrer en France.<\/p>\n<p>Elle traverse notamment :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saint-Gaudens \u2192 Toulouse \u2192 Agen \u2192 Bordeaux<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Elle rejoint la Dordogne dans l&#8217;estuaire de la Gironde, qui d\u00e9bouche dans l&#8217;oc\u00e9an Atlantique.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Le Rhin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le Rhin constitue une partie de la fronti\u00e8re entre la France et l&#8217;Allemagne. Il longe notamment l&#8217;Alsace, pr\u00e8s de Strasbourg et Mulhouse.<br \/>\nIl se dirige ensuite vers les Pays-Bas, o\u00f9 il rejoint la mer du Nord.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Autres cours d&#8217;eau importants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Parmi les principales rivi\u00e8res fran\u00e7aises figurent :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dordogne<\/li>\n<li>Lot<\/li>\n<li>Tarn<\/li>\n<li>Aveyron<\/li>\n<li>Charente<\/li>\n<li>Adour<\/li>\n<li>Somme<\/li>\n<li>Meuse<\/li>\n<li>Moselle<\/li>\n<li>Sa\u00f4ne<\/li>\n<li>Is\u00e8re<\/li>\n<li>Durance<\/li>\n<li>Allier<\/li>\n<li>Vienne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Les principaux lacs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La France poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement de nombreux lacs naturels et artificiels.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les plus importants :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>lac L\u00e9man \u2014 partag\u00e9 avec la Suisse ;<\/li>\n<li>lac d&#8217;Annecy \u2014 Haute-Savoie ;<\/li>\n<li>lac du Bourget \u2014 Savoie ;<\/li>\n<li>lac d&#8217;Hourtin-Carcans \u2014 Gironde ;<\/li>\n<li>lac de Serre-Pon\u00e7on \u2014 Hautes-Alpes et Alpes-de-Haute-Provence ;<\/li>\n<li>lac de Sainte-Croix \u2014 Var et Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Canaux et navigation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La France poss\u00e8de un vaste r\u00e9seau de canaux et voies navigables, notamment :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>canal du Midi ;<\/li>\n<li>canal lat\u00e9ral \u00e0 la Loire ;<\/li>\n<li>canal de Bourgogne ;<\/li>\n<li>canal du Rh\u00f4ne au Rhin ;<\/li>\n<li>canal de la Marne au Rhin ;<\/li>\n<li>canal de Saint-Quentin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ils relient plusieurs bassins hydrographiques et ont historiquement jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important dans le transport de marchandises.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les grands bassins hydrographiques<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le territoire m\u00e9tropolitain est organis\u00e9 autour de plusieurs grands bassins, notamment :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seine-Normandie \u00b7 Loire-Bretagne \u00b7 Adour-Garonne \u00b7 Rh\u00f4ne-M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e \u00b7 Rhin-Meuse \u00b7 Artois-Picardie \u00b7 Corse<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, l&#8217;eau s&#8217;\u00e9coule principalement vers l&#8217;Atlantique et la Manche, mais aussi vers la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e et la mer du Nord.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019hydrographie de la France est caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par un r\u00e9seau dense de fleuves, rivi\u00e8res, lacs et canaux.
