Des copies pr\u00e9cieusement reli\u00e9es et color\u00e9es servaient de cadeaux \u00e0 la royaut\u00e9 et \u00e9taient un objet recherch\u00e9 pour les collectionneurs \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque. Une autre publication c\u00e9l\u00e8bre \u00e9tait son atlas de la ville n\u00e9erlandaise de 1652.<\/p>\n<p>La main gauche de Blaeu repose sur un tellure, un instrument avec lequel on pouvait visualiser les mouvements de la terre.
