Il existe de nombreux endroits pour sortir en ville, principalement des caf\u00e9s. L&#8217;Oude Markt \u00e0 Louvain est \u00e9galement connu comme <i>le bar le plus long du monde<\/i>, en raison de sa succession de pubs. Le jeudi soir (en raison de la vie \u00e9tudiante), le vendredi soir et le samedi soir sont les p\u00e9riodes nocturnes les plus fr\u00e9quent\u00e9es de la semaine. La Muntstraat (<em>rue de la monnaie<\/em>) se pr\u00e9sente comme le c\u0153ur culinaire de la ville. La rue, qui semble domin\u00e9e par les restaurants italiens, a aussi peu \u00e0 peu retrouv\u00e9 un second souffle apr\u00e8s une r\u00e9fection en profondeur.<\/p>\n<p>Sites culturels, historiques et touristiques ;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grand b\u00e9guinage (<i><span class=\"lang-nl\" lang=\"nl\">Groot Begijnhof<\/span><\/i>), inscrit depuis\u00a01998\u00a0sur la\u00a0liste du patrimoine mondial\u00a0de l&#8217;UNESCO\u00a0avec 12 autres\u00a0b\u00e9guinages flamands. L&#8217;ensemble couvre une superficie de 7 ha. Enserr\u00e9 par les bras de la\u00a0Dyle, il a pr\u00e9serv\u00e9 72 maisons orn\u00e9es de fen\u00eatres \u00e0\u00a0meneaux. Son \u00e9glise, devenue\u00a0paroissiale\u00a0aujourd&#8217;hui, dispose d&#8217;une fl\u00e8che ajour\u00e9e montant jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 71 m\u00e8tres\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>Abbaye du Mont-C\u00e9sar\u00a0: abbaye dans laquelle des moines b\u00e9n\u00e9dictins se sont install\u00e9s en 1899.
