Plusieurs rues sont interdites \u00e0 la circulation automobile et, dans le centre-ville, les r\u00e9glementations sur la vitesse routi\u00e8re prescrivent 30 km\/h comme limite de vitesse maximale, ce qui en fait une ville pi\u00e9tonne et cyclable. Il y a aussi quelques parkings pour voitures.<\/p>\n<p>Comme indiqu\u00e9 sur le <strong>plan d&#8217;acc\u00e8s routier \u00e0 Louvain<\/strong>, l&#8217;A3\/E40 Bruxelles-Li\u00e8ge passe au sud de Louvain. L&#8217;A2\/E314 Leuven-Lummen-Pays-Bas longe le bord nord-ouest de la ville, et se connecte \u00e0 l&#8217;A3\/E40 \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9changeur d&#8217;Heverlee, juste au sud-ouest de Louvain. La R23 fait le tour du centre-ville.
