La ville est partiellement encercl\u00e9e par une ceinture autorouti\u00e8re qui est utilis\u00e9e comme p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique ; la ville et l&#8217;agglom\u00e9ration ont un r\u00e9seau autoroutier assez complet.<\/p>\n<p>Afin de lutter contre les surcharges de trafic, le noyau central de l&#8217;agglom\u00e9ration est partiellement entour\u00e9 d&#8217;une boucle autorouti\u00e8re qui fait office de p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique. Le contournement nord est en fonction depuis 1985. La tangente ouest, mise en service en 1972, \u00e9tait initialement pr\u00e9vue comme une solution transitoire jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 la construction de l&#8217;\u00e9vitement nord et ouest. Elle va relier les embranchements des autoroutes A1 et A3 et comprend la mise en service en 2008 du tunnel de l&#8217;Uetliberg. Zurich exploite aussi le plus grand r\u00e9seau express r\u00e9gional de Suisse appel\u00e9 S-Bahn Zurich.<\/p>\n<p>La gare centrale de Zurich est la plus grande gare de Suisse. Plus de 360 000 passagers y transitent quotidiennement.
