Les parties ouest et nord de la province sont principalement constitu\u00e9es de polders plats, coup\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#8217;ouest par le fleuve IJzer, qui se jette dans la mer du Nord \u00e0 Nieuport. L&#8217;int\u00e9rieur est moins plat et au sud se trouve le Heuvelland de la Flandre occidentale, dont le plus haut sommet est le Kemmelberg (154 m &#8211; DNG).
