Ne pas utiliser pour la navigation.<\/label><\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00e9ographie du Qatar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La p\u00e9ninsule du Qatar s&#8217;\u00e9tend sur 160 kilom\u00e8tres dans le golfe Persique, au nord de l&#8217;Arabie saoudite. Elle se situe entre les latitudes 24\u00b0 et 27\u00b0 N et les longitudes 50\u00b0 et 52\u00b0 E. La majeure partie du pays est constitu\u00e9e d&#8217;une plaine basse et aride, recouverte de sable. Au sud-est se trouve le Khawr al Udayd (\u00ab mer int\u00e9rieure \u00bb), une zone de dunes de sable ondulantes entourant une crique du golfe Persique.<\/p>\n<p>Le point culminant est Qurayn Abu al Bawl, \u00e0 103 m\u00e8tres d&#8217;altitude, dans le Djebel Dukhan \u00e0 l&#8217;ouest, une cha\u00eene d&#8217;affleurements calcaires bas qui s&#8217;\u00e9tend du nord au sud de Zikrit \u00e0 travers Umm Bab jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re sud.
