Depuis les ann\u00e9es 1970, les infrastructures routi\u00e8res ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d&#8217;avancements notables. En 1999, le pays cumulait 5 940 kilom\u00e8tres de routes et pistes, dont 1 087 km rev\u00eatues. La priorit\u00e9 d&#8217;entretien et de d\u00e9veloppement est donn\u00e9e aux axes liant les principales villes l\u00e9sothiennes.
