La province est nomm\u00e9e d&#8217;apr\u00e8s le fleuve Ogoou\u00e9 lequel prend sa source en R\u00e9publique du Congo. Le fleuve parcourt la province puis d&#8217;autres provinces du pays (Ogoou\u00e9-Lolo, Ogoou\u00e9-Ivindo, Moyen-Ogoou\u00e9, Ogoou\u00e9-Maritime).<\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00e9ographie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le Haut-Ogoou\u00e9 est constitu\u00e9 de plateaux recouverts de for\u00eats. Le sous-sol de la province est riche en minerais, notamment en or, en mangan\u00e8se et en uranium, ce dernier expliquant la pr\u00e9sence du r\u00e9acteur nucl\u00e9aire naturel d\u2019Oklo, pr\u00e8s de la ville de Franceville.<\/p>\n<p>Au nord-est, \u00e0 l&#8217;est et au sud, le Haut-Ogoou\u00e9 est limitrophe de plusieurs d\u00e9partements de la R\u00e9publique du Congo :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cuvette-Ouest \u2013 nord-est<\/li>\n<li>Cuvette \u2013 est<\/li>\n<li>Plateaux \u2013 sud-est<\/li>\n<li>L\u00e9koumou \u2013 sud<\/li>\n<li>Niari \u2013 sud-ouest<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Au niveau int\u00e9rieur, le Haut-Ogoou\u00e9 est limitrophe des provinces suivantes :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ogoou\u00e9-Lolo \u2013 ouest<\/li>\n<li>Ogoou\u00e9-Ivindo \u2013 nord<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Divisions administratives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le Haut-Ogoou\u00e9 est divis\u00e9 en 11 d\u00e9partements (chef-lieu entre parenth\u00e8ses) :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Djou\u00e9 (Onga)<\/li>\n<li>Djouori-Agnili (Bongoville)<\/li>\n<li>L\u00e9koni-L\u00e9kori (Aki\u00e9ni)<\/li>\n<li>L\u00e9koko (Bakoumba)<\/li>\n<li>Lemboumbi-Leyou (Moanda)<\/li>\n<li>Mpassa (Franceville)<\/li>\n<li>Plateaux (L\u00e9koni)<\/li>\n<li>S\u00e9b\u00e9-Brikolo (Okondja)<\/li>\n<li>Ogoou\u00e9-L\u00e9tili (Boumango)<\/li>\n<li>L\u00e9kabi-L\u00e9wolo (Ngouoni)<\/li>\n<li>Bayi-Brikolo (Aboumi)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carte de la province du Haut-Ogoou\u00e9, l&#8217;une des neuf provinces du Gabon.
