La r\u00e9gion est bord\u00e9e au nord par la r\u00e9gion de Kidal, \u00e0 l&#8217;ouest par la r\u00e9gion de Tombouctou et la r\u00e9gion de Taoud\u00e9nit, \u00e0 l&#8217;est par la r\u00e9gion de M\u00e9naka, et la majeure partie au sud par le Niger (r\u00e9gion de Tahoua et r\u00e9gion de Tillab\u00e9ri), partageant une partie du sud fronti\u00e8re avec le Burkina Faso (R\u00e9gion du Sahel).<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9gion est travers\u00e9e par le fleuve Niger.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9gion de Gao compte 4 for\u00eats class\u00e9es couvrant une superficie de 4 020 ha.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la r\u00e9gion sont situ\u00e9es la r\u00e9serve partielle de faune d&#8217;Ansongo M\u00e9naka et deux zones d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat cyn\u00e9g\u00e9tique (Tiderm\u00e8ne-Alata et In\u00e9kar).<\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00e9mographie et population de la r\u00e9gion de Gao<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_40763\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-40763\" style=\"width: 360px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/40760\/Carte-des-cercles-de-la-region-de-Gao.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-40763\" title=\"Carte des cercles de la r\u00e9gion de Gao.\" src=\"https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/40760\/Carte-des-cercles-de-la-region-de-Gao-300x246.png\" alt=\"Carte des cercles de la r\u00e9gion de Gao.\" width=\"360\" height=\"295\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/40760\/Carte-des-cercles-de-la-region-de-Gao-300x246.png 300w, https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/40760\/Carte-des-cercles-de-la-region-de-Gao-768x630.png 768w, https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/40760\/Carte-des-cercles-de-la-region-de-Gao.png 999w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-40763\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><label style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Carte des cercles de la r\u00e9gion de Gao.<\/label><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>La r\u00e9gion compte 544 120 habitants en 2009.<\/p>\n<p>La population a \u00e9t\u00e9 multipli\u00e9e par pr\u00e8s de 1,4 depuis 1998, soit un taux d&#8217;accroissement moyen annuel de 3,0 % entre 1998 et 2009. Ce barrage est la composante principale d\u2019un projet, dont le co\u00fbt estimatif est de 142 milliards de francs CFA, qui pr\u00e9voit \u00e9galement des ouvrages annexes, une route d\u2019acc\u00e8s de 130 km entre le site du barrage et Gao via Bourem, une centrale \u00e9lectrique de 25 MW, un r\u00e9seau d\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique desservant les villes de Bourem, Gao et Bamba et des am\u00e9nagements hydro-agricoles avec 185 000 hectares de terre am\u00e9nag\u00e9e.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carte de la r\u00e9gion de Gao, l&#8217;une des dix subdivisions nationales de premier niveau au Mali appel\u00e9es R\u00e9gions.
