C&#8217;est une r\u00e9gion en partie d\u00e9sertique, cependant, la pr\u00e9sence du Niger et de son delta int\u00e9rieur, ainsi que de nombreux marigots, \u00e9tangs et lacs, permettent d&#8217;importantes activit\u00e9s agricoles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Subdivisions administratives de la r\u00e9gion de Tombouctou<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9gion de Tombouctou \u00e9tait compos\u00e9e de cinq cercles (Tombouctou, Dir\u00e9, Niafunk\u00e9, Goundam et Gourma-Rharous) qui regroupaient 51 communes.<\/p>\n<p>Avec l&#8217;adoption de la loi cr\u00e9ant la r\u00e9gion de Taoud\u00e9nit, la r\u00e9gion de Tombouctou est constitu\u00e9e par :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>le cercle de Tombouctou comprenant les arrondissements de Tombouctou central, Aglal, Ber et Bourem Inaly,<\/li>\n<li>le cercle de Dir\u00e9 comprenant les arrondissements de Dir\u00e9 central, Dangha, Ha\u00efbongo et Sar\u00e9yamou,<\/li>\n<li>le cercle de Goundam comprenant les Arrondissements de Goundam central, Bintagoungou, Dou\u00e9kir\u00e9, Farach, Raz-elma, Tonka, Gargando et Tilemsi,<\/li>\n<li>le cercle de Gourma-Rharous comprenant les Arrondissements de Gourma-Rharous central, Bambara Maoud\u00e9, Haribomo, Gossi, Inadiatafane et Ouinerd\u00e8ne<\/li>\n<li>le cercle de Niafunk\u00e9 comprenant les Arrondissements Niafunk\u00e9 central, Banikane, Diank\u00e9 Kouma\u00efra, L\u00e9r\u00e9, N\u2019Gorkou, Saraf\u00e9r\u00e9 et Soumpi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Transport et \u00e9conomie de la r\u00e9gion de Tombouctou<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9gion est desservie par l&#8217;A\u00e9roport international de Tombouctou, et accessoirement par celui de Gao. On y acc\u00e8de \u00e9galement par le fleuve Niger et les pistes qui le longent.<\/p>\n<p>La ville de Tombouctou g\u00e9n\u00e8re une activit\u00e9 touristique notable dans une r\u00e9gion qui vit toujours de la production du sel, d&#8217;un peu d&#8217;\u00e9levage et du petit artisanat local.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carte de la r\u00e9gion de Tombouctou, l&#8217;une des dix subdivisions nationales de premier niveau au Mali appel\u00e9es R\u00e9gions.
