Les districts de C\u00f4te d’Ivoire \u00e9taient les subdivisions administratives de premier niveau du pays. Les districts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s en 2011 dans le but de d\u00e9centraliser davantage l’\u00c9tat. Ces districts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 supprim\u00e9es par la loi n\u00b02014-451 du 5 ao\u00fbt 2014, sauf les district autonomes de Yamoussoukro et d\u2019Abidjan.<\/p>\n

Avant septembre 2011, le premier niveau de subdivisions administratives de la C\u00f4te d’Ivoire \u00e9tait les r\u00e9gions. En 2011, les r\u00e9gions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9organis\u00e9es en 14 districts (12 districts r\u00e9guliers et 2 districts autonomes) par la loi n\u00b02011-262 du 28 septembre 2011.<\/p>\n
