Les Treize colonies, \u00e9galement connues sous le nom de Treize colonies britanniques ou les Treize colonies am\u00e9ricaines, \u00e9taient un groupe de colonies britanniques sur la c\u00f4te atlantique de l’Am\u00e9rique du Nord. Fond\u00e9e aux XVIIe<\/sup> et XVIIIe<\/sup> si\u00e8cles, les Lumi\u00e8res am\u00e9ricaines men\u00e8rent ces colonies \u00e0 la r\u00e9volution et elles d\u00e9clar\u00e8rent leur ind\u00e9pendance totale en juillet 1776, ind\u00e9pendance qui fut obtenue en 1783 avec la victoire de l’arm\u00e9e continentale sur les Britanniques dans la guerre d’ind\u00e9pendance am\u00e9ricaine.<\/p>\n

Avec la victoire sur la Grande-Bretagne lors de la guerre d’ind\u00e9pendance, les anciennes colonies ont obtenu leur ind\u00e9pendance en tant que nation souveraine.<\/p>\n
