Les terres incultes couvrent environ 26 000 ha et la superficie agricole utile (SAU), qui englobe les for\u00eats, les parcours et les terres labourables, s\u2019\u00e9tend sur 484 000 ha (94,9%).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34793\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34793\" style=\"width: 360px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/34789\/Carte-de-pedologie-du-gouvernorat-du-Kef.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-34793\" title=\"Carte de p\u00e9dologie du gouvernorat du Kef.\" src=\"https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/34789\/Carte-de-pedologie-du-gouvernorat-du-Kef-300x250.jpg\" alt=\"Carte de p\u00e9dologie du gouvernorat du Kef.\" width=\"360\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/34789\/Carte-de-pedologie-du-gouvernorat-du-Kef-300x250.jpg 300w, https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/34789\/Carte-de-pedologie-du-gouvernorat-du-Kef-1024x853.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/34789\/Carte-de-pedologie-du-gouvernorat-du-Kef-768x639.jpg 768w, https:\/\/gifex.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/34789\/Carte-de-pedologie-du-gouvernorat-du-Kef.jpg 1476w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34793\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><label style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Carte de p\u00e9dologie du gouvernorat du Kef.<\/label><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sur le plan des ressources naturelles, la r\u00e9gion dispose de :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>un potentiel d\u2019eau de surface d\u2019environ 250 mm3, dont 60% sont mobilis\u00e9s par plusieurs barrages dont celui de Mell\u00e8gue,<\/li>\n<li>des ressources en eau souterraine d\u2019environ 73 Mm3 r\u00e9partis entre les nappes phr\u00e9atiques (25 mm3) et les nappes profondes (48 mm3) avec un taux d\u2019exploitation d\u2019environ 88% pour les premi\u00e8res et 28% pour les secondes ;<\/li>\n<li>un important couvert v\u00e9g\u00e9tal s\u2019\u00e9tendant sur environ 24,3% de la r\u00e9gion et compos\u00e9 de 102 000 ha de for\u00eat (Pins d\u2019Alep, Ch\u00eane vert, Ch\u00eane li\u00e8ge), soit environ 13% des for\u00eats tunisiennes, et 22 000 ha de parcours ;<\/li>\n<li>des sols pour la plupart \u00e0 texture fine, riches en calcaire et \u00e0 teneur en mati\u00e8re organique assez faible, en outre leur exploitation avec tr\u00e8s peu de restitution de mati\u00e8re organique a entra\u00een\u00e9 leur d\u00e9gradation physique.<\/li>\n<li>des richesses min\u00e9rales \u00e0 l\u2019instar du granulat, de la pierre marbri\u00e8re, du sable, de l\u2019argile, de l\u2019h\u00e9matite, du carbonate de fer (mine de J\u00e9rissa) et du phosphate sans oublier les mines de plomb, de zinc et de fer dont la presque totalit\u00e9 sont \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat pour \u00e9puisement de r\u00e9serves ou pour difficult\u00e9 d\u2019exploitation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"clear: both;
