Il couvre une superficie de 2 820 km, soit 1,7 % de la superficie du pays. Il abrite en 2014 une population de 176 945 habitants. Son chef-lieu est Zaghouan.<\/p>\n<p>La temp\u00e9rature moyenne y est de 18 \u00b0C et la pluviom\u00e9trie annuelle varie entre 350 et 550 millim\u00e8tres selon les d\u00e9l\u00e9gations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9conomie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Traditionnellement, le gouvernorat est agricole mais conna\u00eet depuis peu un mouvement d&#8217;industrialisation. La population active est concentr\u00e9e essentiellement dans le secteur agricole (33,3 %), les services (17,9 %) et l&#8217;industrie manufacturi\u00e8re (16 %). Les principaux produits agricoles r\u00e9gionaux sont :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>C\u00e9r\u00e9ale : 5,42 % de la production nationale ;<\/li>\n<li>Viande rouge : 3,2 % de la production nationale ;<\/li>\n<li>Viande blanche : 3 % de la production nationale ;<\/li>\n<li>Lait : 2,4 % de la production nationale ;<\/li>\n<li>Huile d&#8217;olive : 2,5 % de la production nationale ;<\/li>\n<li>Fruit : 0,63 % de la production nationale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les principaux produits export\u00e9s sont le textile, les produits m\u00e9caniques, \u00e9lectriques et \u00e9lectroniques, l&#8217;huile d&#8217;olive, le ciment et les articles en bois.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carte du gouvernorat de Zaghouan, cr\u00e9\u00e9 en novembre 1976, est l&#8217;un des 24 gouvernorats de la Tunisie.
