La ville est situ\u00e9e sur un petit affluent du Oued Rhumel \u00e0 464 m d&#8217;altitude et domin\u00e9e par la montagne de Marchau.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Population : 69 052 hab. (2008)<\/li>\n<li>Superficie : 129,89 km<sup>2<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Densit\u00e9 : 532 hab.\/km<sup>2<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La commune dispose d&#8217;une m\u00e9dina mill\u00e9naire toujours ceinte d&#8217;une muraille byzantine et qui abrite la plus ancienne mosqu\u00e9e en Alg\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Localit\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Depuis le d\u00e9coupage administratif de 1984, la commune de Mila est constitu\u00e9e \u00e0 partir des localit\u00e9s suivantes\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mila Centre<\/li>\n<li>Douar El Bidi<\/li>\n<li>Mechta Bouhallouf<\/li>\n<li>Kenaza<\/li>\n<li>Kikaya<\/li>\n<li>Sennaoua<\/li>\n<li>Baba Rabah<\/li>\n<li>Sidi Khenenou<\/li>\n<li>Felaka<\/li>\n<li>Ain Nechma<\/li>\n<li>Sidi Boukhezer<\/li>\n<li>Bouffouh<\/li>\n<li>Kherba<\/li>\n<li>Marechou<\/li>\n<li>Mekhalfa<\/li>\n<li>Teyayba<\/li>\n<li>Boughacha<\/li>\n<li>Bouhama<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00c9conomie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mila dispose d&#8217;une zone industrielle \u00e0 l&#8217;est. La sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 traditionnelle de la ville est le travail de l&#8217;argile et compte des ateliers de poterie c\u00e9ramique.<\/p>\n<p>Elle avait une r\u00e9putation dans la fabrication de la tuile, notamment \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque ottomane o\u00f9 s&#8217;\u00e9tait r\u00e9pandue la construction des m\u00e9cha\u00efres, sorte de fours traditionnels construits en brique et dont les vestiges sont visibles \u00e0 ce jour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mila, chef-lieu de la wilaya du m\u00eame nom.
