Elle s&#8217;\u00e9tire sur quelque 68\u00a0km, sans compter la portion qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise du territoire de la r\u00e9serve am\u00e9rindienne d&#8217;Akwesasne et ses nombreuses \u00eeles fluviales. Son territoire s&#8217;ins\u00e8re entre le lac Saint-Fran\u00e7ois, \u00e9largissement du fleuve Saint-Laurent au nord-ouest, la MRC de Beauharnois-Salaberry au nord, la MRC des Jardins-de-Napierville \u00e0 l&#8217;est, les comt\u00e9s de Clinton et Franklin dans l&#8217;\u00e9tat am\u00e9ricain de New York au sud. Les comt\u00e9s unis de Stormont, Dundas et Glengarry en Ontario et la MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges se trouvent au nord-ouest sur la rive oppos\u00e9e du lac Saint-Fran\u00e7ois.<\/p>\n<p>Treize municipalit\u00e9s forment la MRC auxquelles s&#8217;ajoute, aux fins statistiques, la collectivit\u00e9 mohawk d&#8217;Akwesasne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9conomie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;agriculture occupe une place pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante au sein de l&#8217;\u00e9conomie. Ainsi, le Haut-Saint-Laurent se qualifie par les grandes cultures de mais et de soya, les productions d&#8217;\u00e9levage, les cultures maraich\u00e8res, la pomiculture et
