Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un organisme supra municipal au service des municipalit\u00e9s et de leurs citoyens. Elle est nomm\u00e9e en l&#8217;honneur d&#8217;Antoine Labelle, le cur\u00e9 colonisateur des pays d&#8217;en haut.<\/p>\n<p>Cette MRC a \u00e9t\u00e9 constitu\u00e9e le 1er janvier 1983 et elle est compos\u00e9e de 17 municipalit\u00e9s: soit 2 villes, 14 municipalit\u00e9s et 1 village. Elle contient aussi 11 territoires non organis\u00e9s. Cette population se retrouve sur un territoire total de 15\u00a0665\u00a0km2, dont 10\u00a0000\u00a0km\u00b2 sont constitu\u00e9s de territoires non-municipalis\u00e9s. Par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tendu de la r\u00e9gion administrative des Laurentides (21\u00a0500\u00a0km\u00b2), la MRC d\u2019Antoine-Labelle repr\u00e9sente donc 73\u00a0% de l\u2019espace r\u00e9gional. La MRC est bord\u00e9e au nord par la MRC du Haut Saint-Maurice, \u00e0 l\u2019ouest, par la MRC de la Vall\u00e9e-de-la-Gatineau, \u00e0 l\u2019est, par la MRC de Matawinie et au sud, par la MRC des Laurentides et de Papineau. Donc, la MRC d\u2019Antoine-Labelle touche \u00e0 la fois, la r\u00e9gion administrative de l\u2019Outaouais et celle de Lanaudi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Routes d&#8217;acc\u00e8s de la MRC
