Elle est situ\u00e9e sur la rivi\u00e8re Chaudi\u00e8re, entre la MRC de la Nouvelle-Beauce et la MRC de Beauce-Sartigan. Le territoire est un m\u00e9lange d&#8217;urbain et de rural. Beauceville, le chef-lieu, est la municipalit\u00e9 la plus peupl\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Elle porte \u00e0 l&#8217;origine le nom du politicien, \u00e9crivain, avocat et juge qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois Robert Cliche. Il est n\u00e9 \u00e0 Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, une des municipalit\u00e9s de Beauce-Centre. Le territoire de la MRC Beauce-Centre est caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par la pr\u00e9sence de la Chaudi\u00e8re et ses terres fertiles et de plateaux localis\u00e9s de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9. Le mont Sainte-Marguerite, \u00e0 l&#8217;extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 nord-ouest du territoire, pr\u00e9sente la plus haute altitude, \u00e0 671 m\u00e8tres. La rivi\u00e8re Chaudi\u00e8re draine la presque totalit\u00e9 des eaux de ce territoire, \u00e0 l&#8217;exception d&#8217;une portion, au nord-est, qui est drain\u00e9e par la rivi\u00e8re Etchemin.
