Ce territoire accident\u00e9 est mouill\u00e9 par quatre rivi\u00e8res, soit la Saint-Fran\u00e7ois, la Magog, la Massawippi, la rivi\u00e8re aux Saumons, ainsi que par une importante \u00e9tendue d\u2019eau; le lac Magog. La Saint-Fran\u00e7ois et la Magog, les deux plus importantes rivi\u00e8res, sont le fil conducteur de deux vall\u00e9es se rejoignant au centre-ville, \u00e0 141 m\u00e8tres d\u2019altitude.<\/p>\n<p>Le territoire est bord\u00e9 au sud par les collines Haskett, dont le mont John-S.-Bourque, situ\u00e9 dans le parc du Mont-Bellevue, semble dominer le paysage sherbrookois du haut de ses 381 m d\u2019altitude. Dans les faits par contre, le plus haut sommet se trouve \u00e0 quelques kilom\u00e8tres au sud, \u00e0 401 m d&#8217;altitude. Au nord de la ville se trouvent les premiers contreforts des collines de Stoke, o\u00f9 se situe d\u2019ailleurs le sanctuaire de Beauvoir, \u00e0 320 m d\u2019altitude. \u00c0 l\u2019ouest, \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur des limites municipales, se trouve le massif du Mont-Orford, qui culmine \u00e0 851 m d\u2019altitude.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carte topographique de Sherbrooke.
