La pluie varie de 800mm en r\u00e9gion de montagne \u00e0 190mm dans la plaine.<\/p>\n<p>Il reste soumis aux influences de l\u2019Oc\u00e9an Atlantique et aux altitudes tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9es du Haut Atlas. Le caract\u00e8re aride et semi-aride domine dans toute la r\u00e9gion, le subhumide appara\u00eet seulement dans le haut atlas \u00e0 une altitude comprise entre 1500 et 2000m.<\/p>\n<p>Presque la moiti\u00e9 de la superficie r\u00e9gionale pr\u00e9sente des pr\u00e9cipitations inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 300 mm\/an en moyenne dans la cha\u00eene atlasique.
