Los Angeles est divis\u00e9e en un grand nombre de quartiers. La plupart de leurs noms ont pour origine des zones rurales qui furent annex\u00e9es par Los Angeles au fil du temps, la g\u00e9ographie, les rues principales ou le nom de propri\u00e9taires fonciers. Ces divisions n’ont pas de statut l\u00e9gal, mais ont une grande importance aux yeux des habitants pour des raisons culturelles et financi\u00e8res. Parmi ces quartiers, Hollywood est c\u00e9l\u00e8bre dans le monde entier pour ses studios de cin\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n

De nombreux noms de quartiers t\u00e9moignent de l’origine de leurs habitants, comme Chinatown (quartier chinois), Little Armenia (quartier arm\u00e9nien), Thai Town (quartier tha\u00eflandais), Historic Filipinotown (quartier philippin), Little Ethiopia (quartier \u00e9thiopien) et Little Persia (quartier iranien). L’ensemble refl\u00e8te la diversit\u00e9 et la richesse d\u00e9mographique de la r\u00e9gion.
