Les provinces du Kwilu, du Kwango et du Mai-Ndombe sont le r\u00e9sultat du d\u00e9membrement de l&#8217;ancienne province du Bandundu. Le Kwilu a \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9 \u00e0 partir du district de Kwilu et des villes administr\u00e9es ind\u00e9pendamment de Bandundu et Kikwit. La province du Kwilu est situ\u00e9e dans l&#8217;ouest de la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo. Le Kwilu est limitrophe de quatre provinces congolaises ; le Kasa\u00ef, Kinshasa, Kwango et Mai-Ndombe.<\/p>\n<p>Le Kwilu se trouve aux coordonn\u00e9es ; 5\u00b0 02\u2032 01\u2033 sud, 18\u00b0
