Il a aussi une fronti\u00e8re avec la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo et la r\u00e9gion du Cabinda de l&#8217;Angola.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9partement de la Bouenza se trouve aux coordonn\u00e9es ; 4\u00b0 09\u2032 13\u2033 sud, 13\u00b0 33\u2032 00\u2033 est.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9conomie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Bouenza a quelques cultures industrielles et de rente. Parmi les principales activit\u00e9s figurent une cimenterie \u00e0 Lout\u00e9t\u00e9, des plantations de canne \u00e0 sucre \u00e0 Nkayi, et des r\u00e9serves de cuivre, de plomb et de zinc. L&#8217;\u00e9nergie hydro\u00e9lectrique est fournie par le barrage de Moukoukoulou construit \u00e0 Mindouli.
