Le monument historique du Gr\u00fctli se trouve dans le canton d&#8217;Uri.<\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00e9ographie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le canton est situ\u00e9 au centre du pays, au nord des Alpes suisses. Il borde les cantons des Grisons au sud-est, du Tessin au sud, du Valais au sud-ouest, d&#8217;Obwald, de Nidwald et de Berne \u00e0 l&#8217;ouest, de Glaris au nord-est et de Schwytz au nord. Les terres du canton sont celles de la vall\u00e9e de la Reuss et celles des principaux affluents du fleuve. Uri a une superficie, en 2011, de 1 076,4 km\u00b2. Sur cette superficie, 24,4 % sont utilis\u00e9s \u00e0 des fins agricoles, tandis que 18,2 % sont bois\u00e9s. Les cha\u00eenes des Alpes glaronaises et l\u00e9pontines sont \u00e9galement partiellement situ\u00e9es dans le canton d&#8217;Uri.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9conomie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les champs cultiv\u00e9s du canton sont situ\u00e9s dans la vall\u00e9e de la Reuss. Il y a des p\u00e2turages sur les pentes inf\u00e9rieures des montagnes. Comme la plupart du terrain est extr\u00eamement vallonn\u00e9, il ne convient pas \u00e0 la culture. La production d&#8217;\u00e9nergie hydro\u00e9lectrique est d&#8217;une grande importance. La foresterie est l&#8217;un des secteurs les plus importants de l&#8217;agriculture. A Altdorf, il y a des usines de c\u00e2bles et de caoutchouc.<\/p>\n<p>Le tourisme est une importante source de revenus dans le canton d&#8217;Uri. Un excellent r\u00e9seau routier facilite le tourisme dans les zones recul\u00e9es de la montagne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Communes du canton d&#8217;Uri<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En 2021, le canton d&#8217;Uri compte 19 communes dont Altdorf qui est la seule \u00e0 s&#8217;approcher du seuil statistique de 10 000 habitants d\u00e9finissant le statut de ville ; contrairement \u00e0 d&#8217;autres cantons, ces communes ne font partie d&#8217;aucun district.
