Avec 298,42 km\u00b2, Schaffhouse est le septi\u00e8me plus petit canton de Suisse.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9conomie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans le canton, la production de vin blanc de Riesling est r\u00e9put\u00e9e. L&#8217;industrie est bas\u00e9e sur la production de machines et d&#8217;articles m\u00e9talliques. Des montres et des bijoux sont \u00e9galement fabriqu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 Rheinau se trouve une centrale hydro\u00e9lectrique qui produit de l&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pour le canton et pour l&#8217;exportation. Les principaux clients en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 sont l&#8217;industrie chimique de Rheinfelden et l&#8217;usine d&#8217;aluminium de Neuhausen am Rheinfall. Le premier est form\u00e9 par les communes de Buchberg et R\u00fcdlingen et est situ\u00e9 entre le canton de Zurich et l&#8217;Allemagne. Le deuxi\u00e8me comprend les communes de Buch, Hemishofen, Ramsen et Stein am Rhein et est situ\u00e9 entre le canton de Thurgovie et l&#8217;Allemagne.<\/p>\n<p>Le canton s&#8217;\u00e9tend \u00e9galement sur le lac de Constance, sans que cette zone ne fasse partie d&#8217;aucune commune ; elle est comprise dans la liste \u00e0 fins de comparaison.<\/p>\n<div class=\"boxscrl\">\n<table
