C&#8217;est le canton le plus diversifi\u00e9 en termes de g\u00e9ographie naturelle et culturelle, car il englobe les deux versants des Alpes et plusieurs r\u00e9gions naturelles et culturelles. C&#8217;est aussi le seul o\u00f9 le romanche, quatri\u00e8me langue nationale de la Suisse, a un statut officiel. La langue et la culture romanches constituent une part importante de l&#8217;identit\u00e9 locale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>G\u00e9ographie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le canton des Grisons est situ\u00e9 dans les Alpes au sud-est de la Suisse. Les Grisons sont bord\u00e9s par quatre cantons : le Tessin au sud ; Uri \u00e0 l&#8217;ouest ; et Glaris et Saint-Gall au nord. Le canton est \u00e9galement bord\u00e9 par le Liechtenstein au nord ; les \u00e9tats f\u00e9d\u00e9r\u00e9s autrichiens du Vorarlberg et du Tyrol au nord et \u00e0 l&#8217;est ; et les r\u00e9gions italiennes de la province autonome de Bolzano et de la Lombardie au sud.<\/p>\n<p>Le canton des Grisons est le plus grand des cantons suisses. Avec 7 105,44 km\u00b2, il forme 17,2 % de la superficie du pays. Un tiers seulement du canton est constitu\u00e9 de terres consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme arables. Les for\u00eats recouvrent un cinqui\u00e8me de la superficie totale. Le point le plus bas du canton se trouve \u00e0 San Vittore, dans la r\u00e9gion de Moesa, \u00e0 260 m d&#8217;altitude. La r\u00e9gion poss\u00e8de de nombreux glaciers, comme dans les massifs de l&#8217;Adula, de l&#8217;Albula, de la Silvretta, de la Bernina, de la Bregaglia et du R\u00e4tikon. Les vall\u00e9es de la r\u00e9gion centrale du canton sont tr\u00e8s profondes, certaines \u00e9tant consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme les plus profondes d&#8217;Europe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9conomie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;agriculture et le tourisme sont les piliers de l&#8217;\u00e9conomie cantonale. Le secteur primaire repose principalement sur la foresterie et le p\u00e2turage des ch\u00e8vres et des moutons. Le tourisme est concentr\u00e9 dans les montagnes, en particulier autour des villes de Davos, Arosa, Laax, Saint-Moritz et Pontresina. Il existe plusieurs villages connus pour leur beaut\u00e9 et leur tourisme, principalement dans l&#8217;\u00e9troite vall\u00e9e de l&#8217;Engadine.
