Il dessert les quartiers r\u00e9sidentiels, les universit\u00e9s, la gare, les zones d&#8217;activit\u00e9s et les principaux \u00e9quipements de l&#8217;agglom\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Le m\u00e9tro de Rennes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le m\u00e9tro est l&#8217;ossature du r\u00e9seau urbain. Il fonctionne sur deux lignes automatiques :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ligne A : Kennedy \u2013 La Poterie<\/strong><br \/>\nElle traverse Rennes du nord-ouest au sud-est et dessert notamment Villejean-Universit\u00e9, le centre-ville, la gare et le quartier de La Poterie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ligne B : Cesson\u2013Viasilva \u2013 Saint-Jacques\u2013Ga\u00eet\u00e9<\/strong><br \/>\nElle relie le nord-est au sud-ouest de la m\u00e9tropole, en desservant notamment Beaulieu, Sainte-Anne, la gare et le secteur de Courrouze.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux lignes se croisent dans le centre-ville, notamment \u00e0 la station Sainte-Anne, ce qui facilite les correspondances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Le r\u00e9seau d&#8217;autobus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e9seau STAR compte environ 150 lignes de bus \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle m\u00e9tropolitaine. Il compl\u00e8te le m\u00e9tro et dessert les quartiers p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques ainsi que les communes environnantes.<\/p>\n<p>Les principales cat\u00e9gories sont :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lignes Chronostar : lignes structurantes \u00e0 fr\u00e9quence renforc\u00e9e, reliant les principaux p\u00f4les urbains.<\/li>\n<li>Lignes urbaines : desserte des quartiers de Rennes et des zones non couvertes par le m\u00e9tro.<\/li>\n<li>Lignes m\u00e9tropolitaines et express : liaisons entre Rennes et les communes p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques.<\/li>\n<li>Lignes de nuit : services adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 certains d\u00e9placements tardifs, notamment les fins de semaine.<\/li>\n<li>Services scolaires : lignes et dessertes destin\u00e9es aux \u00e9tablissements d&#8217;enseignement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les itin\u00e9raires et les horaires varient selon les jours de la semaine et les p\u00e9riodes de vacances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.
