Il est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 7 km \u00e0 l&#8217;est-sud-est de Montpellier \u00e0 Mauguio, dans le d\u00e9partement de l&#8217;H\u00e9rault de la r\u00e9gion Occitanie en France. L&#8217;a\u00e9roport a ouvert ses portes en 1946, 8 ans apr\u00e8s le premier vol vers la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;a\u00e9roport transporte le 11e plus grand nombre de passagers en France avec 1 879 963 en 2018. Un campus de l&#8217; \u00c9cole nationale de l&#8217;aviation civile est \u00e9galement situ\u00e9 sur l&#8217;a\u00e9roport.<\/p>\n<p>Installations ;<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;a\u00e9roport est \u00e0 une altitude de 5 m au-dessus du niveau moyen de la mer.
