L&#8217;eau dans le d\u00e9troit s&#8217;\u00e9coule dans les directions nord-est et sud-ouest en raison de la surface oppos\u00e9e et des courants sous-jacents. Plusieurs navires sont visibles dans le d\u00e9troit au sud-ouest de Gelibolu (centre gauche).
