En raison de sa petite taille physique, dans l’organisation territoriale de Singapour, il n’y a jamais eu de subdivisions nationales telles que les provinces, les \u00e9tats ou d’autres divisions politiques nationales appliqu\u00e9es dans les plus grands pays. La cit\u00e9-\u00e9tat a cependant \u00e9t\u00e9 historiquement subdivis\u00e9e de diverses mani\u00e8res (districts, quartiers) afin de cr\u00e9er une administration locale et dans une optique d’urbanisme.<\/p>\n

La division administrative de Singapour<\/strong>, depuis le 24 novembre 2001, est compos\u00e9e de cinq conseils dirig\u00e9s par les maires et les conseils de d\u00e9veloppement communautaire<\/strong> (CDC), comme les administrations locales. Le CDC remplit les fonctions d’initier, de planifier et de g\u00e9rer des programmes communautaires pour promouvoir les liens communautaires et la coh\u00e9sion sociale.<\/p>\n

Il existe actuellement cinq conseils de d\u00e9veloppement communautaire au 27 juillet 2020\u00a0:<\/p>\n
