Pour son d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique, le Conseil g\u00e9n\u00e9ral cherche \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper le tourisme et le secteur de la logistique.<\/p>\n<p>En 2005, le PIB (produit int\u00e9rieur brut) du d\u00e9partement \u00e9tait de 7,3 milliard d&#8217;euros, soit 22 575 \u20ac par habitant et 56 615 \u20ac par emploi, ce qui est inf\u00e9rieur aux moyennes nationales.<\/p>\n<p>Les trois principaux p\u00f4les \u00e9conomiques de Loir-et-Cher sont les villes de Blois, de Vend\u00f4me et de Romorantin-Lanthenay.<\/p>\n<p>En 20 ans, 11 000 emplois ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s dans le secteur priv\u00e9 et le taux de ch\u00f4mage est de 8,4 %. Mais en 2009, ce taux passe \u00e0 10,3 %. Le d\u00e9partement compte alors 126 361 emplois.
