Fires in Mexico and Central America
In the Sierra Madre Mountains of western and southern Mexico, scores of wildfires have continued to burn over the last month. This image from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASAs Terra satellite was acquired on May 22, 2002.
