In the city of Neuquén there are entertaining circuits to know the historical and cultural heritage as well as places of interest and natural recreational spaces: on the banks of the Limay River and in the area known as Parque Norte on the main avenue (Olascoaga / Argentina) to the north , is the Plaza de las Banderas and to the right a viewpoint that provides a formidable panoramic view of the productive valley. Along the same avenue but in the opposite direction, towards the south is the area called Paseo de la Costa; a recreational space on the banks of the majestic Limay River. There are some gastronomic services and floating on rafts, kayak trips, bird watching, cycling and hiking services are provided.
The museums of the city have mainly art and historical exhibitions; and they are located in the Parque central area, in the heart of the city: National Museum of Fine Arts, Museo de la Ciudad Paraje Confluencia, Gregorio Álvarez Museum and Emilio Saraco Art Gallery.
