The population of Brazil, according to the population census of 2010, is more than 190 million inhabitants - with a population density of 22.31 inhabitants per square kilometer-, with a proportion of men and women of 0.95, while 84,36% of the population defined as urban. The population is strongly concentrated in the Southeast (80.3 million inhabitants) and Northeast (53.0 million inhabitants) regions, while the two most extensive regions, the Center-West and the North that make up 64.12% of the Brazilian territory, have only 29.8 million inhabitants.
